Dr. White

Dr. Martin White grew up in Terre Haute, IN and received his B.S. and Doctorate in Optometry from Indiana University. He completed academic clinical rotations at Colmery O'Neil VA Medical Center in Topeka, KS as well as the Naval Medical Center in Quantico, VA. Dr. White was certified in the diagnosis and management of ocular disease in 1991.

In addition to his practice, Dr. White is very involved in volunteer activities in the community. He has been a youth sports coach for several years involved at St. Joe Little League, YMCA basketball, and St. Charles Borromeo football. Dr. White donates his time providing free vision screenings for local non-public schools. In his free time, Dr. White enjoys working out and playing golf. He has been married to his wife Lisa for 18 years, and has 3 children.

A long time employee of St. Joe Vision, Tina, who was certified by the American Board of Opticianry in 1996, is our office manager and lead optician. She works closely with our patients to ensure they have stylish eyewear that also provides them with the best options for their vision needs. She enjoys the opportunities this job provides her to meet new people and form lasting professional relationships with our patients.

Barb

Our patients first and last stops are usually with Barb, our front desk and insurance coordinator. With a lifetime of customer service behind her, she ensures our patients receive the highest quality care and service before, during and after their visits, by overseeing endless details. In addition to handling the reception duties, Barb works closely with our billing and insurance department. Originally from the Pittsburgh, PA area, she has been an integral part of our office since 1999.

Susan E.

Our optometric technician and contact lens coordinator, Susan, has been part of our staff since 2005, having come to us from a strong background in the eye care business. After working in both the retail and medical sectors of our field, she is happy to have found her niche assisting our Doctors with exams as well as handling our patient's contact lens orders. Born and raised in Fort Wayne, she has two adorable children.

Susan D.

Susan D. is also an optometric technician, assisting our Doctors with exams as well as juggling tasks from the front desk to the optical! Susan comes to us with an impressive background in customer service and patient care, having previously worked in the surgical sector of our field. Originally from Decatur, she now lives in Fort Wayne with her beautiful daughter. Our thoughts and prayers are with her son who is serving our country as a Marine.

  Joy

The newest member of our eyecare team is Joy, who has worked in the optical industry since 1977. She has held multiple positions within the field, starting as an optometric technician and advancing her career through proficiency as a certified optician, as well as various forms of management. Joy was certified by the American Board of Opticianry in 1991. She is focused on making your experience a personal service.
